Limassol (Cyprus), September 5, 2007 -- Prestigio Technologies Ltd., a dynamic international vendor of state-of-the-art products for Digital Home and Digital Office, has announced the upcoming International Contest of Computer Wallpapers dubbed “The Charm of High-Tech”. The contest welcomes entries from amateur and professional designers from September 10 through October 31, 2007.
The Contest will be open to designers from around the globe, from all backgrounds, ages and levels of experience. The Contest jury will however accept only the entries performed at a high artistic and technical level and relevant to the Contest theme “The Charm of High-Tech”. The submitted works can be performed in one of the following genres: drawing wallpapers, photo wallpapers, or 3D wallpapers.
The submitted wallpapers have to present a view of the world of high technologies through the magic globe of fashion and glamour. In other words, contestants are expected to reflect the trendy and glamorous side of cutting-edge IT devices, gadgets and gizmos. The detailed rules of the contest will shortly be published at the Contest’s official international website http://art.prestigio.com. The deadline for entry submissions is October 28, 2007.
The winners of the upcoming photography Contest will receive attractive cash and hi-tech product awards.
The Grand-Prix will be awarded to the entrant who will score the highest number of points in the Prestigio Jury voting. The Prestigio Jury consists of 21 company executives from corporate divisions based in Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and the Netherlands.
The Prestigio Gold Prize will be awarded to the entrant who will take the second place in the Prestigio Jury’s voting.
The Prestigio Silver Prize will be awarded to the entrant who will take the third place in the Prestigio Jury’s voting.
The Site Community Special Prize winner will be determined by Prestigio Jury voting from 10 top artworks that will have scored the maximum number of votes in an independent poll at the Contest Website http://art.prestigio.com.
