Limassol, Cyprus, January 12, 2011 -- ASBISc Enterprises Plc, a leading distributor of IT products in emerging markets of Europe, Middle East and Africa, today announced that it has extended its distribution agreement with QLogic Corp. (NASDAQ: QLGC), a global leader and technology innovator in high performance networking. Under the terms of the agreement, ASBIS will offer QLogic’s market-leading Ethernet, Fibre Channel and InfiniBand® data and storage networking solutions across Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltic countries.

QLogic has a keen understanding of the increasingly complex requirements of virtualized data centers, cloud service providers and the converged enterprise,” said Laurent Journoud, executive vice-president for Sales and Marketing at ASBIS. “With a superior networking portfolio that addresses a broad range of data center networking platforms including 10Gb Ethernet, Fibre Channel, FCoE and InfiniBand, QLogic allows us to significantly expand our storage and data networking solutions.”
